Use your hands and creativity to make a fully functional dinner set for you and your loved ones. This clay and sip class is the perfect way to get creative and relax over a glass of wine while learning new skills and meeting new people!

We'll guide you step-by-step through the process of making a dinner plate, an appetiser plate and an adorable coffee cup (worth at least $115 total).

Firing and glazing will be included in your workshop fee - you will be able to pick up your original creation three to four weeks after the workshop! This is a perfect gift for yourself or for that person who has everything.

About this workshop

When & Where?

July 15thFrom 7 pm - 9:30 pmAt Bossa Nova Café (156 Elgin St, Melbourne) Early bird fee $89 until July 7th (includes all materials, tools, firing & glazing)


What you'll make:

- One dinner plate (worth $35)

- An appetiser plate (worth $25)

- A coffee (or wine!) cup (worth $35)

- One cute little spoon (worth$20)


Note: If you wish to make more pieces (considering time constraints), you are also welcome to buy more clay during the workshop.

Knowledge required
Absolute beginners welcome, just come ready to have some fun!

 

What you'll get
- A welcome drink, and you can BYO beverage. You are also welcome to order from the Bar (at Bossa Nova Café).

- Everyone takes home their own dinner set (after being fired)

- Expert guidance from Gabi, your pottery instructor

- All materials are provided, including one kilogram of clay

- Pottery tools that you can take home after the classYou are welcome to buy more clay if you wish (priced at $20/kg - including firing service)

- Firing and glazing will be included in your workshop fee and you will be able to pick up your set, ready to be used, three to four weeks after the workshop.

 

What to bring
BYO beverages.

Wear casual, comfortable clothing that you don't mind getting dirty. You are also welcome to bring your own apron to get 100 per cent artsy!
